Synopsis: Porky lives in a cold place, but an auslander fur trapper comes in and disrupts his peace. In the end, everyone dies.
Comments: One of three cartoons in a row with commercially available releases. There are six cartoons in June with commercial releases. Unusually high concentration, and an unusually busy month with 17 releases. The polar bears in the beginning look good. Porky seems more naked than usual when showering (and following a "you left a little bear behind" joke). I'm surprised they got away with it. 'Singing in the' stutters into 'shower', which is funnier being used to the later cartoon uses. I suppose the general recollection of the song would have made it work. The Rub Noses song seems to think eskimos live in Iceland. Perhaps they were the lenders when the country defaulted on all its debt... The best of the arctic cartoons so far this year; it's good to have a nice restored one (tho it's better than the equally restored Donald Duck cartoon Hockey Champ). I'm shocked; against all my expectations, Clampett didn't ditch Porky in this cartoon. There are some odd for WB designs here. The asbestos curtain makes this self referential to its own exhibition. The old drink and leak gag appears.
